Ardell Canada - Lashes, Lash Adhesive and Brow Tools

Ardell has been making false lashes since 1971 and is the most recognised lash brand in North America. Demi Wispies, the tapered wispy style that made the brand, remain the best-selling false lash in the world - worn by makeup artists on set and by people who have never applied a lash before.

The Ardell range covers strip lashes in natural through dramatic lengths, individual and cluster lashes for custom placement, lash adhesives in clear and dark, and brow products including the Brow Lamination Kit for setting and shaping brows at home or in the chair.

Eastern Beauty Supply is an authorized Canadian stockist serving licensed professionals and the public. Ships across Canada.

About Ardell

Ardell was founded in 1971 and built its reputation on one thing: lashes that look like lashes. The knotted, tapered fibres taper to a fine point the way natural hair does, which is why Ardell strips read as real on camera and in daylight where cheaper blunt-cut lashes do not. The brand is a fixture in professional kits and remains the volume leader in false lashes across North America.

The line has since expanded into individual and cluster lashes, a full adhesive range, lash and brow growth serums, and brow shaping products including the Brow Lamination Kit.

Ardell Lash Styles Explained

Strip lashes

A full lash on a single flexible band, applied along the lash line in one piece. Fastest to apply and fastest to remove. Demi Wispies are the classic: a shorter band that sits inside the outer corner, with varied lengths for a soft, feathered look. Wispies are the full-length version for more drama.

Cluster and individual lashes

Small groups of three to five fibres on a single knot, placed where you want length or density. Slower to apply than a strip but far more customisable, and they suit sparse outer corners or people who want a look nobody reads as false.

Natural versus dramatic

Ardell numbers its strip lashes. Lower numbers such as 101 and 110 are short and natural. Higher numbers and the Wispies family run longer and fuller. If you are new to lashes, start with Demi Wispies or a 110.

How to Apply Ardell Strip Lashes

  1. Hold the lash against your lash line and trim the outer end so it stops just short of your outer corner. Most bands are too long out of the tray.
  2. Bend the band into a C shape and hold it for a few seconds so it follows the curve of your eye.
  3. Apply a thin line of adhesive along the band. Do not apply it to your own lashes.
  4. Wait thirty to forty seconds until the glue turns tacky. Applying wet glue is the single most common reason lashes lift.
  5. Place the band as close to your natural lash line as you can, starting from the centre, then press the inner and outer corners down.
  6. Squeeze your natural lashes and the band together with your fingers or a lash applicator to merge them.

How to Use the Brow Lamination Kit

  1. Cleanse brows and dry them completely.
  2. Apply the lifting cream, brushing hairs upward into the shape you want. Leave for the time stated in the instructions - do not exceed it.
  3. Remove the cream fully with a damp cotton pad.
  4. Apply the setting cream over the same shape and leave for the stated time.
  5. Remove, then apply the nourishing oil. Keep brows dry for twenty-four hours.

Lash and Brow Aftercare

  • Remove strip lashes by peeling from the outer corner inward, slowly. Never pull from the centre.
  • Peel dried glue off the band with tweezers after each wear. Clean bands last far longer.
  • Store lashes back in the original tray so they hold their curve.
  • Avoid oil-based makeup removers near the band - oil dissolves adhesive and shortens the life of the lash.
  • Laminated brows should stay dry for twenty-four hours, then be brushed into shape daily and conditioned with oil.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Ardell lashes reusable?

Yes. Strip lashes typically last ten to twenty wears if you remove them gently and peel the dried glue off the band after each use. Cluster and individual lashes are single use.

How long do Ardell lashes stay on?

A strip lash applied with tacky, not wet, adhesive holds all day - twelve to sixteen hours comfortably. Lifting is almost always an application problem rather than a glue problem.

What are Demi Wispies?

Ardell's best-selling strip lash. A shorter band with criss-crossed, varied-length fibres that give a feathered, fluttery look rather than a solid line. They are the most forgiving style for first-time wearers.

What is the difference between Wispies and Demi Wispies?

Same criss-cross pattern, different scale. Demi Wispies are shorter and lighter for everyday wear. Wispies are longer and fuller for evening or photography.

What glue works with Ardell lashes?

Any Ardell lash adhesive. Choose clear if you are not wearing liner, dark if you are. Brush-on applicators give the most control for cluster work.

Are Ardell lashes latex free?

The lashes themselves contain no latex. Some adhesives do. If you have a latex sensitivity, check the adhesive label before buying.

Can I wear Ardell lashes with eyelash extensions?

No. Strip lash adhesive and the mechanical stress of removal will damage extensions and can pull out your natural lashes with them.

How do I take Ardell lashes off safely?

Soften the band with a warm damp cloth or an oil-free remover, then peel slowly from the outer corner inward. Pulling a dry lash straight off takes natural lashes with it.

Does brow lamination damage brow hair?

Not when the timings are followed. Over-processing is what causes damage, so never leave the lifting cream on longer than the instructions state, and space treatments at least six weeks apart.

How long does brow lamination last?

Typically four to six weeks, depending on how fast your brow hair grows and how you care for it.

Can anyone use the Brow Lamination Kit or is it professional only?

It is designed for both. Professionals use it in the chair; the kit is also sold for home use with three applications per box.
