Is Color Wow Dream Coat a heat protectant?

Dream Coat is designed to be used with heat - the polymer formula activates and cross-links when you blow-dry. It is heat-activated rather than positioned as a standalone heat shield, so for high-heat flat-iron work many stylists layer a dedicated thermal spray underneath.

How long does Color Wow Dream Coat last?

Up to three shampoos. The polymer film resists water and humidity until you wash it out.

Can I use Color Wow Dream Coat on dry hair?

Best results are on damp, freshly washed hair followed by a blow-dry - that is what activates the formula. On dry hair you will smooth surface frizz but you will not get the full humidity-proof shield.

Can I use Color Wow Dream Coat every wash?

Yes. It is non-build-up and silicone-light, formulated for repeat use.

Does Color Wow contain silicones or sulfates?

Color Security Shampoo and the Money Laundering Shampoo are sulfate-free. Dream Coat uses film-forming polymers, not heavy silicones, so it does not build up. Always check the individual ingredient list for full disclosure.

Is Color Wow Root Cover Up permanent?

No - it is a temporary mineral powder. It clings to roots and greys for instant coverage between salon colors and washes out with shampoo.
