Goldwell Men Reshade is a three-part professional grey blending system designed specifically for male clients who want natural-looking coverage without the commitment, flat tone, or regrowth lines of permanent box dye.

What's in the system

Grey Blending Power Shots (20 ml)

Concentrated demi-permanent colour in single-application bottles. Each Power Shot covers one full service.

Developer Concentrate (250 ml)

The dedicated low-volume developer that activates Reshade Power Shots. Required — Reshade cannot be mixed with standard 10/20/30 vol developers.

Application Bottle

Reusable foam-application pump bottle marked at 20 ml and 40 ml for accurate mixing ratios.

Goldwell Men Reshade shades

Reshade uses Goldwell's standard depth/tone coding. The number is depth (5 = light brown → 7 = medium blonde), the letters are tone family:

  • N — Natural (balanced, neutral coverage)
  • NN — Natural-Natural (extra opaque coverage for resistant grey)
  • NA — Natural Ash (cool, neutralises warmth)
  • CA — Cool Ash (strongest ash — no red/orange pull)
  • BG — Brown Gold (warm natural)

How to mix Goldwell Men Reshade

  1. Fill application bottle to 20 ml with one Grey Blending Power Shot.
  2. Add Developer Concentrate up to the 40 ml line (1:1 ratio).
  3. Cap, shake to activate foam.
  4. Pump-apply to dry hair — temples, hairline, full head, or beard.
  5. Process 5 minutes.
  6. Emulsify with warm water, rinse, shampoo, condition.

For heavier grey coverage, use the 1:1 ratio. For sheer blending on lighter grey, dilute further at 1:2.

What does "demi-permanent" mean?

Demi-permanent colour deposits tone without using ammonia to lift natural pigment. It lasts 4–6 weeks, fades on tone, and leaves no regrowth line — ideal for male clients who don't want a salon commitment.

Can I use a standard developer instead of Reshade Developer Concentrate?

No. Reshade is engineered to work only with Goldwell's Developer Concentrate. Substituting standard 10/20 vol developer will compromise tone, processing time and coverage.

Is Goldwell Men Reshade ammonia-free?

Yes. The Power Shots are ammonia-free, which is why processing is gentle enough for 5 minutes and safe for beard application.

How many services does one Power Shot cover?

One Power Shot (20 ml) = one full application. For partial services (temples only, sideburns only) you can split a Power Shot across two clients if used within the working time.

Can it cover 100% grey hair?

Yes — use the NN (Natural-Natural) shades at full strength for the most opaque coverage on resistant grey.

Will it work on a beard?

Yes. Reshade is approved for facial hair. Patch test first, process 5 minutes, rinse fully.

Is Goldwell Men Reshade vegan or cruelty-free?
